I help youth (13+) adults, and couples navigate personal, relational, professional, and situational distress by creating a space of safety, exploration, and support.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Meditation Instructor, I believe that meaningful and lasting change happens when we deepen our self-awareness, build on our existing capacity for self-healing and expand our toolkit with new insights and skills. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where clients can stretch their boundaries in ways that feel right and secure, while fostering meaningful transformation along the way.
Here are some key areas that I focus on in my practice:
Neurofeedback: I supervise NeurAlive’s neurofeedback program in Langford, where I offer both standalone neurofeedback sessions and sessions that include 30–45 minutes of counselling. Neurofeedback is a safe, non-invasive tool designed to support regulation of the central nervous system. With regular training, many people notice improvements in sleep, focus, emotional stability, and their ability to manage stress. Clients often describe feeling calmer, more grounded, and better equipped to respond to life’s challenges. It’s a gentle yet powerful way to help the brain return to a more balanced and resilient state.
OCD & Anxiety: Obsessive Compulsive Disorders are more common than people realize, and it is a great advantage to utilize a therapist with specialized training in this area. Anxiety can run deep, shaped by past experiences and ingrained patterns of thinking. OCD and anxiety show up in our bodies, yet we may tend to intellectualize and overthink these, which can leave us feeling stuck and overwhelmed. In our work together, we gently explore the source and patterns of anxiety and OCD and use specialized training, to create new skills of responding to life’s challenges and regaining your confidence to move forward.
EMDR & Trauma: I have extensive experience supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and utilize trauma-informed and evidence-based practices such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help with processing and healing.
Neurodivergence (ADHD & Autism): I support neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism, in navigating a world that often isn’t built with their needs in mind. Together, we explore ways to honour your unique strengths while addressing challenges like emotional regulation, overwhelm, executive functioning, and social connection. My approach is affirming, individualized, and grounded in compassion and practical support.
Transition & Change: Life is filled with transitions and changes and I have heard many clients discuss the struggle of navigating such changes whether these were expected or not. While uncertainty, stress, grief, and loss of connection and purpose can be challenging following a significant life change, these moments can also be conceptualized as an opportunity to re-evaluate your life and commit to intentional growth. Together, we can explore and process the impacts of these changes before beginning to move forward and define new goals for growth.
Relationships: Relationship challenges such as breakdowns in communication and trust, emotional disconnect, misaligned expectations, and differing parenting approaches can leave couples feeling disenfranchised with their partnership. I help couples explore the dynamics in their relationships and to identify problematic patterns. I ensure to make it safe to connect in sessions as a way to foster effective communication, greater understanding of differences, healing of emotional wounds, and to co-create a framework of values and behaviours to live by going forward.
Approaches: Neurofeedback, EMDR, Exposure Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment and Somatic Embodiment and healing Theories, and Neuroscience.
Populations: Youth (14+), Adults, Couples.
Specializations: Anxiety, OCD, Trauma, Stress, Burnout, Self-Esteem, Relationship Issues, Life Transitions, and Couples Therapy.

Beyond the Work: I am an avid sport and fitness enthusiast and love spending time watching or playing sports, going for hikes, and working out at the gym. I love watching my son playing sports, and a special passion of mine is when we attend new NHL arenas together around North America.
