Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) – Full or Part Time

We are currently seeking Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs) to join our growing team at our Fernwood or Langford locations. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

The Work

You’ll have the opportunity to work with children, youth, adults, couples, and families, depending on your interests and experience. These roles are primarily in-person, with the option to offer some virtual sessions from a home-based office.

Requirements

• Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) designation

• Master’s degree in Counselling or a related field

• Liability insurance

• Attachment- and trauma-informed clinical lens

• 3+ years of clinical experience

• Availability for 15–25 direct client hours per week, ideally including at least one evening and one weekend shift

• Interest in building your practice at NeurAlive over time

Child / Youth Therapist

NeurAlive Counselling & Neurofeedback is currently seeking two part-time Associate Child & Youth Focused Therapists to provide counselling services to children, youth and parents from our Langford location.

Responsibilities of the Position:

As a contracted Registered Clinical Counsellor, Social Worker or Psychologist, you are a vital part of the NeurAlive team. You are responsible for providing assessment and counselling services to children / youth and their families, maintaining clinical records, collaborating with parents and other professionals, and being proactive in order to provide the best quality service, such as by engaging in professional development or seeking supervision within our team.  

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Counselling, Child & Youth Care, Psychology or Social Work, and registration with the relevant regulatory body
• Liability insurance
• Certification or training in Play / Art / or Sandtray therapy
• Two years clinical experience working with children and youth
• Attachment and trauma-informed lens
• Willingness to work 3-4 shifts per week (15-20 direct client hours), ability to work weekends
• Motivated to grow and develop your practice
