Available Positions

NeurAlive Counselling & Neurofeedback is currently hiring full-time and part-time Associate Registered Clinical Counsellors, Social Workers and Psychologists to join our growing team at our Fernwood and Langford locations. Depending on the applicant’s specialties and interests, we have opportunities for providing counselling services to children, youth, families, adults, and couples.  These are hybrid positions, with 50% of sessions in-person and 50% from a home-based office.

Associate Responsibilities:

As a contracted Registered Clinical Counsellor, Social Worker or Psychologist, you are a vital part of the NeurAlive team. You are responsible for providing assessment and counselling services to clients, maintaining clinical records, and being proactive in order to provide the best quality service, such as by engaging in professional development or seeking supervision within our team.  

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Counselling, Child & Youth Care, Psychology or Social Work, and registration with the relevant regulatory body
  • Liability insurance
  • Attachment and trauma-informed lens
  • Expertise or training in additional modalities, including EMDR, SE, CBT, DBT, IFS, EFT, Play/Art/Sandtray therapy, and others
  • Willingness to work at least 3-5 shifts per week (15-25 direct client hours), ideally at least one evening and one weekend shift 
  • Motivated to grow and develop your practice at NeurAlive 

By Joining Our Team You Will Be Provided With:

Please note: 

These positions are solely counselling–based and do not entail administering neurofeedback. 

We are seeking an experienced psychologist to offer psychological assessments, trauma counselling, and neurofeedback services to Veterans, Military personnel, and First Responders in Victoria, BC.

Position: BC Registered Psychologist
Location:  Victoria, BC V8T 3M3
Starting Pay: $105,000 – $120,000 per annum starting
Benefits: Competitive Benefits Package
Employment Type: Full-time, in-person, permanent; Contract work also possible
Start Date: Late October

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Psychologist in British Columbia.
  • Two or more years of experience working with Veterans and First Responders.
  • Mastery of one or more evidence-based trauma therapy approaches.
  • Ideally Certified by BCIA to offer linear neurofeedback and QEEG assessments.
    Candidates without BCIA certification but enthusiastic and willing to work towards certification are also encouraged to apply. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments tailored to our clientele.
  • Provide trauma counselling to support the mental well-being of Veterans, Military personnel, and First Responders.
  • Administer neurofeedback sessions ensuring client comfort and understanding.
