About Rhiannon Harding, MA RCC

Registered Clinical Counsellor

WAIT-LIST: Rhiannon is currently taking a wait-list for new clients with an estimated wait time of 4 weeks. Please contact us to be added to the wait-list.

Rhiannon specializes in supporting youth and adults with ADHD and/or anxiety to cultivate a life that works best for their brain, while moving away from the systems that don’t work, are unhelpful, or keep them “stuck.” She aims to provide clients with a supportive, compassionate, validating, and non-judgmental space that facilitates healing and fulfillment.

Since her youth, Rhiannon has had a passion and enthusiasm for learning about the human experience – how our emotions, motivations and behaviours influence who we are and how we move about the world. She is also passionate about helping individuals within her community, and has previously engaged in the helping role through volunteering and mentorship. Over time, these factors inspired Rhiannon to naturally gravitate toward the counselling profession. In keeping with this mindset, her aim is to provide clients with a supportive, compassionate, validating, and non-judgmental space that facilitates healing and fulfillment. Rhiannon works collaboratively with her clients to build a trusting relationship where they can develop strategies that “fit,” are effective, and create positive patterns that move them toward growth and wellness.

Rhiannon has sustained several years of experience working with adolescents and their parents, individual adults, neurodivergent persons, and in support groups as a co-facilitator for LGBTQ+ identifying folks. When it comes to technique, Rhiannon utilizes an integrative counselling approach that is rooted primarily in person-centered, cognitive behavioural, strengths-based, solution-focused and mindfulness techniques. Beyond the technical approaches, she believes deeply in the power of one’s personal strength and resilience to create positive change.

Rhiannon is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. Additionally, she is a certified ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) and has also completed CBT and Exposure & Response Prevention training for anxiety. She received her Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria in 2022, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria in 2018. Rhiannon has studied under award-winning psychologists Dr. Jillian Roberts (author, Just Enough series) and Hillary McBride (author, The Wisdom of Your Body).

As an ADHD Clinical Services provider, Rhiannon specializes in supporting individuals with ADHD by helping them cultivate a life that works best for their brain, while moving away from the systems that don’t work, are unhelpful, or keep them “stuck.” In combination with traditional forms of counselling, Rhiannon works to help clients with ADHD develop systems, tools, and skills to achieve success and balance in their life. This can include time, task, and space management, goal-setting, increasing motivation and focus, building capacity to follow-through with non-desirable tasks, regulating mood and emotions, and developing skills to improve everyday structure.

Populations: Adolescents (12+), adults, individuals, families.

Specializations: Anxiety, ADHD, OCD, stress, self-esteem development, self-discovery, relationship and interpersonal issues, emotion dysregulation, communication skills, understanding relational patterns, LGBTQ2S+ support, gender identity support, and adolescent behavioural challenges.

Beyond the work: Rhiannon takes great pleasure in spending quality time with her loved ones, including her three snuggly cats. She also enjoys travelling to places both new and familiar, listening to audiobooks, swimming, cooking, consuming film and music, gardening, karaoke, playing games (both video and board!), and building community.
