About Corinne Teahen, RCC
Registered Clinical Counsellor
Corinne brings 20 years experience in social work and mental health including in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings to her role as a Neurofeedback Practitioner at NeurAlive. She is passionate about helping people of all ages to find balance and healing in their nervous systems as they overcome obstacles and achieve a life of purpose, enhanced resiliency, performance and well-being.
Corinne holds a Master in Social Work with a specialization in Mental Health, a Bachelor of Social Work focusing on anti-oppressive practice, and a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology. She has also worked in private practice incorporating a number of different therapeutic modalities including CBT, ACT & Mindfulness, and Somatic Experiencing (SE).
Corinne is a lover of movement, connection and community, having been a yoga teacher for 12 years. She is fascinated by the role of the brain and the nervous system in healing and especially excited to bring the power of neurofeedback to the Victoria community.
