About Bill Wagg, MA RCC

Registered Clinical Counsellor

Bill has extensive experience in the therapeutic field working with couples, families, and individuals helping them create healthier relationships with themselves and others.

With over 30 years of experience as a therapist, Bill cherishes the opportunity to support and guide individuals through their personal challenges. His practice, enriched by a wealth of experience, training, and knowledge, has been particularly focused in the past 15 years on assisting clients grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, attachment issues, and emotional distress. Bill believes in empowering his clients to discover their innate strengths, resilience, and capacity for hope and joy.

In his work with couples, Bill is adept at rekindling lost connections and love. He understands the disappointment that comes when intimacy fades, and he skillfully guides couples back to a place of heartfelt openness. By applying relationship skills and knowledge, Bill helps couples revive their care and love for each other, acknowledging the challenges but also the profound rewards of this journey.

Bill’s extensive career also includes significant work with families, parents, youth, and children. He recognizes the dynamic and powerful nature of family relationships and employs a diverse set of skills and educational approaches to foster more harmonious family environments.

With a background in various Drug and Alcohol treatment centers, as well as his private practice, Bill extends a welcoming hand to those battling addiction, supporting them on their path to recovery.

As Bill ages, the presence of aging, declining health, terminal illness and the death of loved ones has become more a part of his own life and counselling practice. Bill humbly travels alongside his clients, sharing his skills and knowledge through their processes of grief, loss, and letting go, and supports the integration of the new reality of a changed life after a significant loss.
