Keep Your Brain Sharp

Promote Faster Recovery

Neurofeedback is a must-have intervention for anyone who is recovering from a brain-injury or concussion. Many of our clients use coverage from ICBC for their sessions.

Neurofeedback provides the brain with real-time feedback via pain-free, noninvasive EEG and audio technology. By stabilizing the nervous system via the support of neurofeedback, post-TBI/Concussive clients at NeurAlive have reported relief from physical symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, dizziness, sensitivity to noise and blurred vision. They have also reported improvements in balance, speech, and dexterity and a reduction in emotional symptoms such as anxiety, anger, impulsive reactivity and obsessiveness. Others have reported increased focus and attention span, better sleep, improved concentration and decision making, and more ability to retain information.

Although NeurOptimal® does not directly treat specific issues, it is a tool that helps alleviate symptoms associated with these and other conditions by improving the overall functioning of the central nervous system.
