Brenden Taylor, MA, RCC | Clinical Director & Co-Founder
As NeurAlive’s Clinical Director, Brenden provides overarching leadership in clinical vision, quality, and professional growth across the organization. He supports the development of new initiatives, mentors senior clinicians, and ensures NeurAlive’s services reflect excellence in ethics, compassion, and client-centred care. Drawing on his extensive background in relationship and family systems therapy, Brenden helps shape a culture of integrity, learning, and collaboration throughout the team. Elinor Taylor, MA, RCC | Clinic Director & Founder
Elinor founded NeurAlive in 2018 with a vision to create a practice where compassion, innovation, and clinical excellence come together to support individuals and families. Drawing on over two decades of experience in counselling, education, and organizational leadership, she now guides the overall direction, growth, and operations of NeurAlive’s clinics. Elinor oversees hiring, strategy, and business development ensuring the practice continues to evolve sustainably in service to its clients and team. Marion Orr, MA, RCC, CCC | Clinical Supervisor & Manager
Marion serves as NeurAlive’s Clinical Supervisor and Manager, providing leadership, supervision, and consultation to our clinical team. With a decade of counselling experience and another in social services, she supports therapists in delivering thoughtful, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care. Marion oversees supervision processes, facilitates professional development, and ensures that NeurAlive’s clinical services remain rooted in integrity, reflection, and compassion. Heather Wotherspoon, BA | Administrative Supervisor
Heather plays a vital role in the daily operations of NeurAlive, overseeing the administrative team to ensure the clinics run smoothly and clients receive attentive, organized care. Since joining NeurAlive in 2022, she has brought exceptional professionalism, warmth, and precision to every aspect of her work—from client communication and scheduling to systems management and team coordination. Heather is also certified to provide NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback and supports both in-clinic and at-home programs. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria, she brings insight, care, and a deep commitment to the wellbeing of clients and team members alike.

Marissa Dehoop, BA | Administrative Assistant
Marissa supports the daily operations of NeurAlive’s Langford clinic with warmth, professionalism, and a steady commitment to client care. As an Administrative Assistant, she helps ensure smooth scheduling, organized communication, and a welcoming experience for every client who walks through the door. She also assists with Community NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback sessions. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Victoria, Marissa brings insight, compassion, and a client-centred approach to her role at NeurAlive.
