Counselling for first responders
Empowering First Responders: Your Mental Wellness Matters
First responders, including police officers, firefighters, paramedics, dispatchers, nurses, Veterans and military personnel, face a unique set of challenges that can impact their mental health. The demands of their professions often expose them to traumatic experiences, high-pressure situations, and the constant need to be at their best. At NeurAlive, we understand and respect the courage and dedication it takes to serve our communities, and we are here to provide a safe and confidential space where you can prioritize your mental wellness without judgement.

NEUROFEEDBACK FOR FIRST RESPONDERS
Neurofeedback Brain Training
In addition to Tali’s therapeutic services, NeurAlive’s Registered Clinical Counsellors, Elinor Taylor and Corinne Teahen, offer Dynamical Neurofeedback Brain-Training. This cutting-edge technology can enhance your mental well-being by promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and improving cognitive function. It’s a valuable complement to traditional therapy.
“As someone who has been a first responder for 24yrs, and being off of work for 1yr for PTSD related symptoms. I sought Neurofeedback 6yrs ago to assist with my healing. Neurofeedback in conjunction with counselling therapy has been the game changer to my return to work and as a maintenance. Neurofeedback has reduced symptoms of anxiety, reduced my depressive episodes, has improved my attention and focus, and most important has provided emotional stability. With this I have better sleeping patterns, decreased stress, good coping mechanisms, less hypervigilance, fewer fear responses and fewer triggers. I am forever thankful for finding Neurofeedback and its benefits!” ~Kevin, Victoria PD
